North South Railway Line Project KSA

The first and one of its kind “North South Railway Line” project that was initiated and implemented by the SAR (Saudi Arabian Railways) has undergone a successful test. The train was tested on a track that was more than 1100 Km long. It mainly connects the Northern Province to the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. Since its inception, the project has been receiving a worldwide acclaim and is considered to be a revolutionary step for the country.

The passenger services for the train will be introduced somewhere during 2016. Saudi Arabian Railways has planned a schedule for it, in which the train will run from Riyadh by way of Hail and to Jawf, at night times. In the day time it will complete its journey from Riyadh then Buraydah and at last Ha’il.

The citizens of Saudi Arabia and others that can have a direct affect by the routes are anxiously waiting for the train to officially start its operations.
